ACS adds a new option for NIH-funded authors to comply with the mandatory NIH Public Access Policy

Upon request, ACS will submit the final peer-reviewed manuscript version to the NIH Manuscript Submission system on behalf of authors, after editorial acceptance by an ACS journal, for public availability 12 months after publication. This publishing service is provided free of charge to ACS members.
